12 Meter Telescope - Receiver Information
The following table contains information about the frequency coverage,

Receiver:
The sideband-separating mixers for this system have been provided by
the Herzberg Institute for Astrophysics (HIA). This receiver was put
on the 12 m in May 2008 for test observing with a single
polarization. System temperatures on the sky were typically less
than 200 K, SSB, in 5-8 mm of water vapor. Image rejection was
typically 20 dB. This receiver showed exceptional stability, and
excellent data was obtained. The current plan is to upgrade this
receiver to dual-polarization for Fall 2008, with availability for
general observing. This receiver will replace 3 mm HI. |
